This project takes a look at the different stages and states of mind involved in the processes of procreation. The thought process behind this theme was the recent news that I am due to be a Dad again in December, so this project is a method of expressing my news through a creative medium.

I chose a clean vector based style for this project to clearly show the journey involved in the process leading up to birth. The use of the overlapping love hearts in the central print represents the merging of two entities and as a result, a new entity is formed. The yellow lines moving consistently throughout all prints create the life path that can be taken and shows that there will be ups and downs along the way.

A set of three prints were created, all angled at an individual viewpoint of the procreation process. Each print has been deliberately designed to work individually as well as part of the series.
